1 game at prince
1 game at emperor
1 game at immortal
1 game at deity
And done with it. Alright changes, but in the end the same exact game as 5 with a paint job to look different.

The only real changes are that builders aren't permanent and you have to pre plan your Districts
>mountains for science/faith/industry
>rivers and harbors for gold
>jungle for science and that one wonder
>great works for culture
Adjacency is only slightly tedious with this

I’m too stupid for these games

>game starts you with literally a dozen total pieces of information, including the map layout
>still too much
Modern gam*rs are a joke

i've never played a city builder game bros

>city builder
good meme

Play Rome, they do a lot with very little effort
Sorry user as much as I love civ 6 but the new mechanics that changed from 5 turned it into a city builder which isnt a bad thing

>as much as I love civ 6 but the new mechanics that changed from 5 turned it into a city builder
Fair and based

Campus districts immediately
Adjacency bonuses can really be abused to give you absurd bonuses. If you have a plot surounded by 4 or 5 mountains you can get an early +4/5 science bonus that is just stupidly OP.
War is still stupidly effective as enemy AI is retarded when it comes to war.
Barbarians are a huge pain in the ass and way more aggressive and threatening in the early game than before. This hurts the enemy AI, too, though.
Uh portugal sucks horse cock

Play Rome (newbie friendly civ) and read the tips
Once you figure out how to do district placement, how victory conditions works and how to maximize production, move on to more complex civs/harder difficult

civ 2 is better

>attack a city in Civ 5
>explosions and women screaming
>attack a city in Civ 6
>caveman grunts and light slapping sounds
Small things like this bother me far more than they should

I liked the new nukes mechanic.
>decide to speed up war and nuke city
>every other civ suddenly decides I must die
>but...i have nukes
>nuke every other civs capital
>everyone begs for peace
Ok then.

I disagree, 5 was way more interesting.

Districts are a chore and there are too many of them.

>mountains for industry
What? Like for aqueducts or something?

theres a tooltip if you hover over the district or on your city menu it shows what things can give adjacency bonuses for that district

Civ 6 is such a visual mess that playing it with the yield overlay actually looks comical.

Did that get added somewhat recently? I genuinely didn't know that was a thing and I have ~500 hours in VI. Sure that's not Machu Picchu in effect?
