Death Stranding Director's Cut is out on PC and I want to try out the Dualsense functionality.
Considering that:
>1. Nintendo Switch Pro controller has the best ergonomics for me, but I hate the d-pad and the digital ZL/ZR.
>2. I like the ergonomics of the Dualshock 4 and I like the d-pad (not as good as PS Vita), but the material quality is shit.
>3. I HATE the Xbone ergonomics, it has better material quality but it's big and cluncy, and hate the clicky/cheap L/R.
Will I like the dualsense? Should I spend $70? Are haptics and adaptive triggers that big of a deal?
Should I buy a Dualsense (for PC)?
no I own this and the xbox controller and there's functionally no difference.
It depends on the game. Ghostwire Tokyo has dual sense support but there's no guarantee a lot of games in the future will support it. I wouldn't say there's a reason to buy it just for the triggers yet, there's what maybe 2 or 3 games that use it?
It's a bigger DS4. If you ever thought the DS4 was a bit too small, you'd like it. Death Stranding makes good use of its meme features so you could try it with that and then see if you want to keep it or not.
I personally think it's the best controller I've ever used but you might end up hating it.
Is it too big? DS4 feels a bit small. Switch Pro controller it's just a little bigger and I like that. Xbone is too big for me. Do you know if it's more in line with the Switch Pro? Thanks user.
I have a DS4 and with some tweaks per game haven't found anything with controller support that it doesnt work for. I also use a Pro as a backup. I don't own a DS5 so I can't talk about that, but try to find one you can hold first and make your choice from that.
Be prepared to get another one in a year due to stick drift. I haven't had the drift issue with the switch pro or XSeX controllers and I've had those for longer.
>Do you know if it's more in line with the Switch Pro?
It is. This picture does a decent job of showing it's size in comparison to the others.
I got one today and can safely say it's the best controller I've ever used
I use xbox one controllers because I have the adapter can connect like 8 to it for multi (only have 3)
I also have a ds4, switch pro, and 8bitdo pro+ but i use those mostly on switch
>not getting a real controller that stands on its own without kiddie gimmicks
I laugh at all the xboxlets calling xbox controller huge
Only if you're using a real OS so it's fully supported
sure, might just be the best controller ever, but get one of the color collection since they used better parts for those and fixed drift and shit
>literally rgb puke in his picture
>nipple looking sticks to calm down babies hungry for milk
>fuckhuge audio bar to jam your fingers (unless baby hands)
>no kiddie gimmicks
what did he mean by this?
What the fuck is that D-pad
What the fuck is that tumor on my analogs
What the fuck is up with those triggers
Holy shit I love snoy seethe. Enjoy your fisher price controller that even Nintendo beats
The ps4 controller has more support than the ps5 controller but if you're using winblows just go with an Xbox controller
U got me, im a snoy with my only ps consoles being ps2 and ps3
i have it, i like it. works on windows on the games i tried desu (using that steam controller layer thing or whatever). the touchpad doesn't seem to work to control the mouse, maybe it does on linux but i don't play games on it
The duelsense is one of the coolest pieces of gaming tech ever, people are underselling it
