crafting in elden ring is insanely powerful
Crafting in elden ring is insanely powerful
>Oh look it's another elden ring thread
Fuck off Fromtrannies.
>Oh look it's another Elden Ring thread
Based FromChads
Gimme some examples. I'd like to start a craft-only playthrough sometime.
i dont recommend unless you use cheat engine
>crafting in elden ring is insanely useless outside of daggers
fixed
The crafting is to allow for melee builds to cleanse debuffs and buff themselves without relying on spells. They're balanced in that they don't stack with spell buffs and they require materials to craft.
Perfuming is one of the biggest examples of missed potential in the game
Crafting needed to be a big deal, and this was going to be what made it
At one point perfuming even had its own menu category, suggesting it was going to be as big as sorcery or incantation
But then the game comes out and it's only like 5 items, only 2 of which are any good, with no stat scaling and only one support item which doesn't even work on the good ones, and they all require late game materials that are annoying to farm
Just absolute ass, when alchemy should be the cornerstone of any fantasy game with a crafting system
Arteria leaf is a finite resource
>*takes a bite of turtle neck*
>*munches on some crab meat
>*devours some exalted flesh*
what the fuck did you say to me?
how do you get infinite perfume bottles?
does it drop from the pefumers?
Yeah, I'd like to make an item only run. It seems like it could be fun, though farming might get old.
ive been doing a strength only guy and have been enjoying crafting after using cheat engine
for one magic grease youd need 2 bon fire rests, no thanks
Kukri has S dex scaling and bleed. The perfumes are also really good, damage one replaces incantations, and the opaline and iron skin ones are really good defensively.
>tfw playing on console and can't cheat resources in
Crafting seems interesting to play with, but things like Arteria Leaves being so rare and limited just completely disincentives me from experimenting.
You can farm it from giants.
>crab meat
Just in time, mate! Got some on the fire.
>lasts a piddling amount of time
you don't know true brokenness until you start downing this shit and it lasts an entire minute
What does it do?
crystal darts are extremely good for INT
fire pots are good agaisnt tree spirits and miranda blooms
sleep pots really fuck up godskin faggots and giants
ironjar aromatic is basically iron flesh from dark souls
and so on
small max stamina increase and a whopping 30% damage buff but you take more damage for the duration
Uses FP to enter a temporary state of fervor
>1min
lmao
Enemies already one shot me since I'm naked. Guess I'm huffing perfume from now on.
Number of crafted items in 80 hour 100% complete blind playthrough: 0
they are all trash and not worth the time, inventory or effort to make and equip and activate for 20 second barely noticeable buff while boss flies away or teleports 100 ft away every 2 moves.
>bombs
>throwing knives
>rot arrows
>offensive perfumes
that item literally carried my entire level 1 run. you can easily outdamage fully leveled characters with a decent setup
Wonder what my dual Giant Crusher would look like. Hmm.
Every temporary buff wears off before I even realize it. I fucking hate consumables man
pure power
yeah have fun crafting and resource gathering
I've gathered that there are absolutely far too many items to make a low level run viable
the challenge isn't even there
Volcanic bombs
what do you mean? isn't the meme copypasta that every reward is a spattering of crafting materials? why gather when, according to people who are far more enlightened than me, the game is constantly throwing these items at you instead of weapons or armor?
Yeah, and weapon upgrading does most of the hard work already
Could you theoretically use these on the NPCs at the festival to have them basically rape Radahn?
perfume is for women and trannies
