Is it a good game or is it just people shitposting about the good soundtrack?

It's fun.

>entire new generation of teenagers discovering MGR for the first time
both
worth playing with kbm?
It’s a good game but it’s very much involved in memeshit so redditors have been tainting it
it's decent enough for a playthrough
STANDING HERE
>entire new generation of teenagers discovering MGR for the first time
Is it getting a resurgence?
I think it is one of Platinum's weaker action games, but enjoyable nonetheless. Sam should get his own prequel/sequel or something because was he was way, way more fun to play as than Raiden. I don't know how Platnium didn't think of weapon Switching, even if it was MGS style.
What's with this? Why is MGR getting such a resurgence in popularity?
If a sequel had ever actually happened I like to think Sam would've been brought back, I'm sure they could easily bullshit a way that he survives.
i'm gonna guess some streamer talked about it. do zoomers ever learn of something any other way?
>great gameplay
>memorable cast
>not afraid to inject a healthy dose of irony and tongue-in-cheek Platinum humor into Metal Gear's headassery
>What's with this? Why is MGR getting such a resurgence in popularity?
Memes.
Ironically enough, that's it, i believe. You had the Armstrong meme, and because people were watching revengeance stuff, you eventually also got stuff like THERE WILL BE BLOOD
what would it feel like, bros?
fotm fanbases don't count. They would get bored and move on to other shitty indie games.
It has great boss fights, memes and OST
Everything else is subpar
>Why is MGR getting such a resurgence in popularity?
The Only Thing I Know For Real became a popular fixture in the bait-and-switch memes that are popular on twitter and across various discord servers. Armstrong memes have also been fairly common lately.
Unfortunately they haven't repopularized Red Sun or Stains of Time yet.
I mean, I know Pomu streamed the game not too long ago and fucking loved it, but it seems memes about the soundtrack and some cutscenes have gotten big, like
>nice argument, but what's your source? (Raiden)
>MY SOURCE IS I MADE IT THE FUCK UP (Armstrong)
And, when Raiden fake hugs Armstrong with text saying
>MALE DETECTED, OPINION TOLERATED
moonmoon played it a couple months ago and cr1tikal (cum guy) played it yesterday
ANSWER ME FAGGOTS
I would dip my balls in some thousand island dressing. because I've got depression
mystery solved
No, melee action game so it's best played with a controller.
It is awfully made good game. Combat mechanics and enemy roster are pretty solid but camera and controls are complete and utter dogshit + I had to use two fucking patches to make it run at proper resolution at shitty 60 fps.
man
Can't get into controllers for the life of me
Is there really no comfortable configuration for kbm or at least keyboard only?
It's well paced and fun.
No quick weapon switching is its biggest flaw.
It's a fun game. Good for what it is but it sure as hell ain't no DMC or Bayonetta. It all hinges on it's presentation and the cutting gimmick. Not something that's really worth playing at harder difficulties.
Yes, 100%.
Controller will only make the jank more painful. Don't listen to retarded console children. They are the people who called DmC the worst game ever made just because it didn't have lock-on crutch. Never play 3D games with controller (unless it's a game with fixed camera).
I spent like 3 hours killing this faggot on the hardest difficulty until I gave up and used nanopaste and it still took me like a full hour of attempts. What a cheap fight honestly.
I don't see why not if this guy played on KBM youtube.com
also I played DAS3 and Sekiro + Elden Ring on KBM. I tried KBM for this game but I would gues it's really finicky with the way u have to parry in this game, and you'd have to use WASD to control the blade anyway (not that it's any less finicky on the analog sticks)
It's actually underrated gameplay wise since most people play it once and move on, without tackling Very Hard and/or Revengeance difficulty. It has a lot of neat mechanics and good enemy design. Unfortunately the actual content is on the smaller side, but still a great game regardless.
If I wanna play the MGS games should I just start with the 1st one and go through them in order? Also how does Rising tie into the series/when do I play it?
Play them in order of release (like every other fucking franchise). 1, 2, 3, 4, Peace Walker, GZ and then V. Play MGR after 4 since there are some spoilers, if you care about that. If not play it whenever.
>devouring all that shit before playing the only Metal Gear title with gameplay
It was mostly that STANDING HERE I REALIZE over raiden punching armstrong that helped reinvigorate the game's popularity, the revengeance status memes with jetstream sam came afterwards, you can tell because that shit has zoomer written all over it.
Monsoon is too complex for normalfag zoomer memers to understand, they won't pick up as much steam. Neither will they appreciate sundowner, because most of them were born after the good ol' days after 9/11
Are they all playable on PC?
