RoR2 is the only game in recent memory that had a great pixel artstyle and translated it into a great 3d artstyle.

Online co-op makes me intensely leery, and I'm not sure the game will translate well to 3D given how important the dash was to the feel of the game. Still intensely hopeful.

Nothing has quite scratched the same itch, but Tunic is incredible. Incredibly dense and opaque at the start but once the systems start making sense it's extremely good.
