It’s time to end this once and for all.
Portal Physics
/thread
Neither, game engine doesn't support it
You can answer B or you can answer "the laws of physics would prohibit this scenario so the question is nonsensical", but answering A is internally inconsistent and a sure sign of a lack of higher cognitive functions.
Still too many pixels.
>bu-but hoola hoops
It's B
>moving a portal means moving the entire universe
>velocity is only meaningful in reference to other objects
>once you enter a portal at x m/s, you are traveling through the universe at x m/s regardless of whether or not the portal changes velocity behind you
its A because portals aren't teleporters, they're portals
That's precisely why it would be B
Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
if the cube were Buster Keaton then the answer would be A
Good, fuck the Artifact fanbase and fuck you too.
A is the only proper answer. Anything else, and you shall be considered a smoothbrain subhuman.
NO!
Finish the game, Gabe.
Read about Galilean Relativity, then play Portal again.
Neither. I wrote an old copy pasta explaining why a decade ago that I don’t know if I have saved (it’s all conservation of momentum). Suffice it to say that people who claim either are both retarded and don’t understand physics.
No.
What if after moving down fast it stops like this?
>It's B
>moving a portal means moving the entire universe
Way to contradict yourself.
Can't have one and the other.
According to Bfags it would jump
Then itss B but it the cube moves half as fast
Why not?
As the orange portal moves over the cube, the cube moves out of the blue portal. Without any force to act against it, the part of the cube that is through the portal should continue its motion pulling the the other half of the cube along with it.
OHNONONO B BROS?????
