I'm playing it for the first time. first Souls game too.
dumping into str, end, dex, and I'm btfoing every single thing with the black knight halberd.

not really that challenging but I like the world design a lot. Walking around the empty cathedrals feels cool.

Well I'm playing it for the first time right now. Yeah, it sucks for the most part and I'm only playing it because it got way too popular and I want to understand why it killed the much better From Soft series.

I just beat the bed of chaos and Nito on my first try for both. It was so lame
For reference, I went Demon's Souls on PS3 in 2010>Nioh>Sekiro and now Dark Soul 1
I think DeS and DS1 are the worst ones and Nioh 1 is easily the better game
DS1, I can't find any difficulty (outside of the Artoria DLC which instantly filters me, for now anyway), the gameplay isn't great (not THAT bad either but still), the story is generic trash, there's barely any characters to speak with, the levels feel incredibly small, and the art direction is all over the place.
Why am I even playing? I get no enjoyment out of this outside of gearing up my character maybe.
Also, exploring stuff does feel very good and the world is very well designed. That isn't fucking enough.
If the game was any more difficult I honestly would have given up already because I'm BORED OUT OF MY MIND

19 year old zoomer here! I started playing Dark Souls like a week ago and honestly I think it's very fun and Relaxing. it's easily a 8/10 at least.
