Pointless subversion to seem like someone clever wrote the story. Poor story structure which focuses too much on Abbie (we get it, you need midwits to understand a story with multiple protagonists JESUS CHRIST). Pointless dog killing. To add to this, they politicized the fact that so many people didn't like the game. I don't care that Lev is trans, it isn't his whole identity. I don't care about the story focusing on women. I don't care about any of that. It doesn't change the fact that everything that could be shit was shit. And they removed multiplayer - I actually liked seeing facebook friends die from sepsis or cholera.
