Yeah sound about right. The fact the game managed to keep your attention for that long is something to be commended.

Generally I’ve seen people assign one of the three statuses to towers: “Active”, “Deactivated”, “Fallen”:
Active towers stand and have their stones in them. By Skyrim it's probably just Adamantia and Green Sap. Deactivated towers stand, but their stones are destroyed/gone. We as a player are directly responsible for deactivating Red Mountain (Nerevarine hitting heart of Lorkhan with Kagrenac’s tools) and indirectly for White-Gold (Martin Septim breaking the Amulet of Kings). Snow Throat stands but is “sundered”, according to the prophecy. The only thing about its stone that we know is from Kirkbride saying it's a cave.
Fallen towers are physically gone. Best example would probably be Numidium, which was broken twice but now its stone (Mantella) is also gone.

In August 2019, Soule was accused of rape by game designer Nathalie Lawhead. He was also accused of sexual harassment by vocalist Aeralie Brighton. He denied the accusations, with no charges being filed. Materia Collective ended their work with Soule on his symphony The Northerner in response, and Soule's official social media pages were taken down. Soule's music distribution platform DirectSong was also seemingly taken offline around this time.
I'm pretty sure he hasn't worked on anything since.

Skyblivion is probably the one that's closest to release; they developed a tool that automatically transferred quest scripts from Oblivion to Skyrim so they didn't have to manually implement them themselves for the most part.
Skywind will take longer but one of the devs is from here and assured everyone they're at least staying away from Discord drama like The Frontier and that they're trying to bring back every single mechanic from the original game like throwing weapons or levitation and the likes.
