Sekiro is the most beginner friendly of the soulslike games and parrying is the easiest here, you should have no problems after passing the Ogre

Played through it 4 times. After that I fought Genichirou, Isshin, and Owl repeatedly on a daily basis. The boss fights are really addictive.

But any stat increments from NG+(both for you and the bosses) does not carry into gauntlets/reflections
