what does this mean

New combat features, weapons, extra content.
Biggest letdown is the new missions and story content. Was wayy too short, but gave some more back story between fragile and the incel higgs

the roads before used to end just before Locknes base, now they go into the mountains further

they stopped at mountain knot so im guessing they actually go into the heartman area etc like you said, this is just info ive got from googling around on what the differences are, I played base DS this year so the directors cut stuff is gonna be all new to me

The best reason to get the directors cut in m opinion is the jump ramps and the road from mountain knot to the south distro center. Also the ability to use carriers on zip lines.

The unskippable 4 hour ending is why this game is an 8.9 and not a 9.5.
