Enemies have hidden level stats, the same enemy can be way harder if its level is much higher.

Leyndell is kino and I unironically listen to the ambience of it while I do chores around my house.

I'm not spoiling myself by clicking that. I just hope it's as good as you say because the music in this game has been oh so disappointing and forgettable, ambient or boss.

I agree that the boss music is the game is generally underwhelming but I really thought the game did ambience well. It felt great exploring around right out of the beginning area.

Fucking tired of every enemy, boss or not, having infinite poise. I'm just fucking tired of it all.

The game gets really cheap from that point on. The balancing in this game is unironically awful.

I wonder if some retard on the dev team just put the enemy damage a decimal point in the wrong direction because after a point it just becomes tiresome. Especially if you're using a slower weapon. If dodging canceled animations it might be tolerable.

Leyndell isn't so bad, but Haligtree...

Haligtree is legitimately the worst. It's some of the worst balance I've seen in a Fromsoft game, having to take 6+ swings from a greatsword to kill a regular fucking knight enemy. Fitting that the boss in the area is also the worst designed one in the game, if not all Souls games.

I think curved greatswords have the sweet spot of stagger damage and speed. Bloodhound Fang is just obscenely good because of that + having busted damage. I've switched to twinblades just for fun and it's fucking harsh how little poise damage it deals.

a few themes are good, but honestly only a couple really became earworms like 90% of the ones in Dark Souls.

I really feels like that. The damage numbers are just plain stupid endgame. I really hope From does some fucking balancing fixes instead of nerfing fun bosses like Radahn.

the end result is that you use OP summons to fuick with bosses' AI and ignore most of the content outside of that since it's never worth it to engage. When any random fuckface you see can kill you in two hits, why bother? The fucking runes?

The rats are fine, they still die in 2 hits. The imps taking 4-5 is fucking stupid, easily one of the most obnoxious normal enemies in the entire series. Also those fat fucks in the sewers have like double the health they do everywhere else and there's a few sections where they throw 2 at you at once. I'm at the endgame and just started running past everything after looting a room because the hp bloat is just fucking absurd.

I've fought Radahn several times for myself and to help others. He hits hard but he feels properly telegraphed. Maybe I'd feel different if I never summoned period but every time he's on me I don't feel like it's unfair. I damage him ok and the damage he does to me isn't so bad that I feel useless. He'll Margit feels harder to me.

enemies barely chase you, opening doors and chests makes you invisible and picking up items is very fast. There's hardly ever a reason to fight something outside of bosses unless it's a visibly elite enemy that won't respawn and might drop something unique.
