Post your favorite Max quotes
"I had a hole in my second favorite drinking arm"
I was lost and they were going somewhere
Did he find peace bro's?
The way I see it, there's 2 types of people in this world. Those who spend their lives trying to build a future and those who spend their lives trying to rebuild the past.
>got sober
>finally did an act of good
>made peace with his past
I like to think so. Name a single more punished character in all of vidya
He'll never find peace. Imagine a guy like that in real life, with all the shit he's been through, and not much left to live for all's said and done. Would he realistically find peace then?
Wasn't he carrying a drink while he was walking towards the sunset?

End of 1, Max is a bit closer to heaven after avenging his family. End of 2, he had a dream about his wife but it was alright. End of 3, he is sober and walks off into the sunset, no narration. Yes, he has achieved peace.
IT'S TIME TO MAKE GLUE
THE GLUE
>Rockstar almost changed Max's voice actor
Could you fucking imagine?
>Trouble finds us the same way it found me - slumped at a bar, drunk on self-pity.
>I had been sitting at the bar for three hours - or five years, depending on how you looked at things.
>It's hard to keep your eye on the ball through the bottom of a glass.
Michel from The house in fata morgana even though this is a VN
Wasn't it going to be John DiMaggio of all people?
Seriously? McCaffery knocked it out the park in 3. Best vidya performance ever.
>Max Payne 3 was released in 2012
Felt like a lifetime ago
>there's a bullet shaped hole inside my head where the answers should be
if you go listen to his performance in 1 and 2, it's way more stilted, flat, and lifeless than in 3. I'm guessing rockstar was going to recast a "better" actor because of this, but realized it'd make fans happier to just get an acting coach and/or direct the shit out of the guy instead.
it was the right choice, he kills it in 3
