do what

That thing will instantly sink in the sand.

Because carriers literally weigh 100,000 tonnes and no effective land based propulsion system would support it.

The deserts on Earth aren't big enough to require such a thing.

>bro why don't they make aircraft carriers for land
they're called airports, you retarded fuck

I don't think you understand how sand or the ground works. Buildings sink constantly and we don't even need them to move.

Because sand is abrasive and pervasive, the ocean is a fluid and allows for displacement and weight distribution better than land vehicles, and the cost of fuel for perhaps moving this would be so high that it would be pointless on the battlefield?

square cube law.

explain

yeah but then you'd have mobile airports

a land vehicle of that size would require more energy to move than it is capable of generating

They tried making a very small version for a snow desert and it went horribly wrong.
It could barely move under its own weight.

Don't let your dreams be dreams user. Lead the way and build the first land carrier yourself.

Just remind yourself that threads, gears and other mechanical parts don't do well over a certain size.

Why would you want a land carrier for the desert, are you defending scorpions or those snakes that roll down dunes

>waste a fuckton of resources so you can gain aerial superiority in the desert
>which is empty and nobody cares about it
sounds like a worthwhile investment

Bagger 288!

Bagger 288 weighs 13,500 tons
We're only an order of magnitude off.

Not only would it not work, it is also basically useless. Deserts aren’t valuable land people are fighting over, and the ones that are already have bases or roads near or in them, or are in range of actual aircraft carriers

what if you put your dick in it

Because it's fiction and trying to implement it in real life would be a stupid exercise in futility.

>Because it's fiction
So were flying machines and submarines at one point.

it would be extremely hot

for you

you could probably build like 100 airstrips for the amount of money that thing would cost

funny that you mention that, because we tried it with icebergs
Look up Project Habakkuk

Kharak is a desert planet.

What do they eat?
What's their tax policy?

Are you legally retarded?

sand
also sand

Are you?
"huur duur we can't do it" is a century old excuse

What's in Africa that would warrant a billion dollar defensive project such as that?

>I learned science from youtube guys
you're retarded and you don't understand the square cube law

the mobile thingys are the planes

It *could* be done. But anybody who's actually ever taken time to design something, can tell you why it's not worth the effort.

Sort of like telling OP not to be a fag.
There's just no way you could get them to dislodge the cocks pounding every orifice in their body.
