First time playing through the HL1 story with Black Mesa. Level design is amazing. And the comfiness of the different offices and places through the map and how everything connects makes it for a beautiful game. Gonna play Blue Shift and Opposing Forces later.

original game is better, black mesa is too bloated with its boring and obvious hl2 puzzles. Doesn't feel like a test of survival against increasingly desperate and hazardous odds but blatant and bad video game puzzles.

it felt weird playing black mesa. I was like "damn this is like HL2" but it felt harder and faster, which wasn't the kind of braindead comfy i was looking for. Game was still good and fun but it sure was a weird mix of new and old
