At a certain point in your life, you just stop giving a shit. Considering that tortoises can live long-ass lives, and considering that he's a magical tortoise who can learn all sorceries and incantations, he's long passed that point.
He's seen an empire rise and fall. He's seen weddings happen between the most powerful people in the land, politically and literally. No one's dared to hurt him because 'haha he's a silly turtle with a miter', but he's probably pretty strong, too.

No such thing. There's people who beat this game at RL1. If you don't want to pump your stats, try upgrading your weapons. That usually does it. Also use consumables.

I've gotten much better at Malenia's first phase. I can pretty consistently get to her second form now. If I'm topped off I can usually survive water fowl dance even if she does it on top of me, mostly have the dodge timing down, just the first bit is unavoidable as far as I can tell.
I'm going to do it! I just beat The Black Blade, who's first phase was harder than his second, so I think I'm almost done the game. Second playthrough will be a sorcerer with the wiki open instead of (mostly) blind

Waterfowl secret -> back up when she jumps as far as you can, put up shield, just hold block and let her hit you with her 2nd burst, youll tank it and she’ll heal a lil its ok, then as she starts the 3rd burst simply step back from her and she totally miss.
