When will fromsoftware fans become tired of the Dark Souls formula?
When will fromsoftware fans become tired of the Dark Souls formula?
My biggest problem with Elden Ring is the lack of it. All that's good about it is the old formula. All that's bad is moving away from it (the open world).
How could they improve on the new things?
Never. They are like Nintendofags
Honestly, they should've included a few towns of NPCs in Elden Ring. Going around the world and having to kill everything except like 10 people makes the world feel dead. A few non-hostile towns would've made the world feel more lived in
What's wrong with it?
Why did he ever abandoned the interconnected level design of DS1, it was one of the best things about that game.
When will anyone get tired of FPS games, or 3:rd person games in general? It's a style, "soulslike". And something that literally no other company can seem to do right. Why would we ever get bored of that? The only thing I'm getting bored with is the fact that for 10 full years they haven't done ANYTHING to update their trash netcode. We're in 2022, and they released a game with a buggy shitty multiplayer that disconnects and fails to work some 70% of the time. That restricts the engine to 60fps (and 16:9, possibly). And that has the SAME EXPLOITS AND VULNERABILITIES as Dark Souls 1 did, those 10 years ago.
It's fucking unforgivable. And this will be the last time I have patience for that trash. Out of general principle.
Your problem is that you're an individual who's tired of fromsoft and projecting that dissatisfaction onto a group. Said group is not static, people drop in and out of it. So even if people get sick of it, they can be replaced by new people who aren't. That's why it all looks like nonsense to an outsider, they're assuming it's the same group over about 10 years.
I'm already tired of it. Honestly, looking back on it, Sekiro was a breath of fresh air.
I don't want the formula changed. Just wish they put more effort into their worlds instead of the Zanzibart shit.
I only play them like once every couple of years, no reason to be tired of them.
wouldn't that counter-act the sense of "despair" the world is in? The whole point is that everything fell apart a long time ago and now everyone fights for scraps while slowly going insane and you get thrown into it all.
A handful of towns with normal life (or at least as normal as it can get in this setting) would feel out of place.
Also, a core aspect of the souls series is, that most, if not every non-hostile npc is a potential story/quest line or helpful in another way. A town or even a city full of people would be in contrast with this.
Townfags need to fuck off back to Witcher 3.
Never, they're severely autistic and socially maladjusted, mainly virgins too, so they crave repetition and familiarity or they their anxiety will end up causing them to asphyxiate.
Never played and previous games so i really hope they do ER 2
>The whole point is that everything fell apart a long time ago and now everyone fights for scraps while slowly going insane and you get thrown into it all.
sorry are you talking about demon's souls, dark souls or elden ring? i got confused
>it was one of the best things about that game
Why.
And saying how you made a soiboy face and yelled "Yooooo, I've been here before!?!!" doesn't count.
when will exploring and fighting cool bosses ever be unfun? probably never.
when will tendies get tired of mario and pokemon?
Elden Ring was marketed as not Dark Souls, retard. They should have done something different rather than LE WORLD IS IN LE DESPAIR THAT’S WHY CIVILISATION CAN’T EXIST
