I can bet you that even if SE decides to go ahead with it, the game will sell not even a fraction of what the first one did. Especially if they end it at the fucking Temple with the Jenova Life fight. Honestly I don't even expect it to get there. Probably the fucking Junon chapter will be hyped up to hell and back. Sephiroth will show up there too and he'll slash apart the Junon cannon just to make sure that they can't use it later for getting past the barrier.
