Actually technically everyone does have a worthwhile opinion. There are a lot of reviewers. You can basically curate through the list and find a couple people that share similar opinions to yours, so when they recommend a game you can almost always trust that you'll get a good experience out of said game. If they fuck up or make their shilling obvious you can find new reviewers or just wait for their next recommendation to see if it's all down the shillhole from there. Actual critics miss the mark entirely especially in gaming, there are a lot of vidya sites with reviewers that are bought out, or they are basically required to shill for a company to continually get free shit and earn good favor.
