If the developer made a variety of difficulty modes then why do you even care? Now demanding games that just work as it is to have more modes is different thing altogether

Games are supposed to be fun and challenging.
Imagine playing football and complaining because the other team doesn't let you score free goals.

good thread

I dont care when developers have an easy mode. However when you cannot play the game on anything higher, I don't believe you have the authority to speak on it's difficulty balancing.. I also don't like people demanding games have an easy mode added, like Sekiro.

just shut your fucking mouth and play how you like, but don't crow about it or pretend you have something to say.

>games are supposed to be fun and relaxing
>relaxing
Says who? Was hardly the case for the first decade of video games at least. Is hardly the case today, either, as the biggest, most celebrated games are competitive multiplayer games.

i play on easy mode

FALSE, Games are supposed to be whatever their creators want them to be, so if the creators want the game to be a challenging experience, and them not including an easy mode because of that, gives you no rights to ask for one in the first place. And if you cheat or abuse game mechanics in a way that was not initially intended, you did not, by any strech of the imagination, beat the game.

Fuck of filthy casual
Go back where you came from

Same but I still laugh at them for being fucking retards.

>devs: we made a good game
>me: :D
>twitter: game is too hard
>devs: okay, we made the sequel easier and more accessible due to feedback
>me: D:
>twitter: we're glad to hear that
>also twitter: *doesn't buy the game*

I thought it supposed to be challenging and entertaining, but you do you op.

>games are supposed to be fun and relaxing, not stressful.
who decided that?

Three vacations a year haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha.

The only excuse I could see for this is getting through a large backlog. Or maybe just speeding through shit content to get to the better bits. But no games in the history of mankind were meant for relaxation.

I don't care if they do or not, I just like to see them get uncomfortable when I question them and bully them needlessly for choosing a difficulty mode meant for children.

Because easy mode in modern games is invariably there for young children, people with profound intellectual disabilities and guys who hand their fingers mangled in a car crash like Dr. Strange.

Good. Play games on easy mode. In most AAA games, difficulty modes are just shitty scaling anyway.

Just don't cry and demand catering when you're excluded from playing a game because it's not easy, and don't cry when devs make it so that you can't get the ending unless you play in normal difficulty.

No one cares if you're playing on easy mode
But if you're bitching about how "this game is too hard, it needs an easy mode" you need to kys

Don't care as long as you stay in your lane. Stop trying to dumb down games not made for you. You don't see me demanding they make Groove Coaster easier 'cause I ain't got rhythm'.

>women play vidya

Many people are retards.

If you aren't playing on the hardest difficulty, you didn't beat the game.

>paying of $32,000 in student loans every year for 20 years
yeah alright

What is up with twitterinas trying to plarize videogame difficulty discussion? It's just a matter of preference yet they make it seem like you're bigot for wanting hard games and make it seem every game should have a easy mode even when the design clearly doens't work with one, so pathetic.

games are not supposed to be anything but what they are on a individual level.
Some are supposed to be stressful to keep the player on edge

I typically play video games in easy mode if I am playing for the story or the game is just poorly designed (which includes requiring having a highly specialised build to be playable).

>only made 9.6k last year
What country do you live in bro? If you know how to code come to America we can't hire enough devs here.

>easy mode if I am playing for the story or the game is just poorly designed
This is how I feel about Vampyr. Pretty interesting story but the combat SUCKS.
