Doing a no spirits run for ng+, just did Mogh and I've come to a conclusion that it's a shit, overtuned fight. His semen puddles do way too much damage.
I basically cheesed him with mogh's shackle and the nihil blocker tear for the bottle. The biggest value of the blocker is that you can keep wailing on him when he does his phase transition animation, if you time everything right and use fairly fast weapon you get him to around 1/3rd HP before the fight truly starts, which is an extreme on the other side of the spectrum, but I feel zero shame.

You can choose to remain in ng and mess around after you beat final boss.

It asks you if you want to go into NG+, same as Sekiro. If you say no then you can later go into NG+ from the Roundtable Hold grace.
