You can craft mostly dogshit guns and there are glaives in the game. Which are mostly useless and work with nothing.

Players have become so overpowered that for 90% of content they can just throw a grenade and wipe out an entire room of enemies instantly.
And I'm not joking - right now with void 3.0 is literally busted, even more than Stasis was. I don't even remember the last time I fired a primary without Volatile Rounds on.

Do you mean the capped LL items can be? Because my favorite guns are my favorite guns for very good reasons, and that concept turned me off the game majorly.

There are no new sunset items.
But any item that was sunset is still sunset.

There's build diversity now but none of it matters because in post-game content you're going to have to use whatever Bungie tells you
