Collecting figures, games and memorabilia is fine Imo as long as it is tasteful and is of characters/franchises you appreciate. Granted your placement is aesthetic and doesn't look like somebody just spilled a box of legos on the shelf. Collecting for the sake of it is kind of weird though.
As long as you work towards noble goals and keep your body healthy, I don't think its a problem.
