Too bright, it doesn't have the gritty atmosphere of 3, raiders aren't half as psychos as they used to be.
Settlements were a mistake, they got away with being lazy, no cities to explore
no fucking vaults either
At least they got power armors and the shooting part right

they forgot fallout is supposed to be an RPG

>no cities to explore
What the fuck is Boston then?

imo
>main quest is bad
>weapons aren't good
>being locked in as Shaun's parent is awful

>weapons aren't good
Energy weapons and big guns are the best it's ever been, especially the oversized version of the railway gun your get in far harbor
Only the small guns sucks

It was mass downvoted by witcher fags and it didn't get GOTY.because it doesn't have softcore porn. The Witcher is problematic.

Nothing provided you add a zombie apocalypse mod and make the zombies only killable via headshots.

I love Piper!

Are you actually a survivor of a nuclear war traveling the wasteland? No, you are playing a role. That's why it's called role-playing dipshit

ruined dialogue and removal of skills. everything else is an objective improvement

the story sucks ass

I have no idea because I saw the default weapons and installed modern firearms ASAP.

>little to no roleplaying in the vast majority of quests
>Only like diamond city and goodnieghbor have populations with 2 digits
>Settlements are stupid and couldn't be reworked with mods because of all the fucking spaghetti code
>Same problem as fallout 3 with piperiflespiperiflespiperifles
>Legendary items add too much garbage rng skinner box shit to the game instead of well designed unique weapons
>Skyrim questing on steroids. Go to generic dungeon #57 and kill the thing and bring the thing back for your gold
>Nearly no environmental storytelling compared to fo3 and nv. Every building looks exactly the fucking same inside and out.
>Dlc was garbage compared to 3/nv. One was just a rip-off of point lookout
>Gutted 4 panel dialogue with lots of repeat options unlike Deus ex or mass effect
>Protagonist is insufferable asshat that reminds u too much of modern AAA game protagonists

>shit story
>shit quests
>shit factions
>watered down rpg elements
>shitty dialogue wheel that basically was just four of one option most of the time
>no optional or extra dialogue with NPCs, literally all conversations are either for quests or for shops
>shit map
>only thing improved is gunplay but it's still bad and doesn't make up for everything else
>most companions are shit
>synths are wasted potential with poor execution
>Didn't even try to have the Institute make sense
>less weapons than previous games
>forced excessive background and character that you can never diverge from
>settlement building system is shit

its too colorful for a fallout game IMO, its the only drawback.
INB4 your opinion.
i dont really care.

I hate knowing plenty of faggots and Any Forumstards are going to buy Starfield and TES6 despite how awful Bethesda games have been for a while now.

You could say that Danse is being dense.

Story's bad. Character's boring. A load of other stuff. We all know this. So let's talk about what went right. I enjoyed survival mode. Just walking around clearing out places and managing your survival was relaxing fun

They got the game part okay, but that is only half of a Fallout game.

>I enjoyed survival mode
How?
limited savespots in a game as buggy as that? no thanks
Hunger and thirst meters are just inconveniences and doesn't add anything to the gameplay, same reason it sucks in NV.

Yeah
