Because there is no competition yet in the coop open-world anime-esque game genre unless you dive into the unique yet powerful cancer that is MMOs. It blows my mind that nothing has competed, because Genshin really set the bar low with it's god-awful pay model, recycled content drip, incredibly casual gameplay loop, extremely low challenge, and radical inconsistency. I would immediately hop to a similar game that wasn't developed for children to play on phones. Unfortunately, everyone who makes something even remotely similar takes the plunge from coop into full-blown MMO aids.

When the patch is good, I play more and do co-op. When a patch is barren, I just do dailies then use that 3-6 weeks to focus on other stuff, similar with PoE and skipping leagues.

having Ganyu, good artifacts, c5-6 on every good 4star, and almost every standard banner 5 star weapon really helps the game not feel like shit though
