I have a CRT, they are fairly easy to find on eBay, Craigslist, FB Marketplace. It's not like it's gone away

i use a crt because I care about:
- low resolution
- colors
- everything related to old consoles working as intended.

i have a small crt and a wii hooked up in the other room, modded ps2 too
i try to play with others, but i've found that lack of skippable cutscenes and general slowness means zoomers get bored of older games.

I have no issue with playing on CRT, when i'm playing my retro consoles, however I had to switch to a HD tv when I had my PS3 because I could literally not read the text on-screen when playing Disgaea 3 on my widescreen trinitron.

We were young and didn't know any better, but the graphics wars were definitely a thing back then.

i remember playing gears of war on my 360 on a crt. the graphics looked better but i didn't really get the fuss.
