The funny part is that it's actually accurate... except not to Souls but to Armored Core. AC literally pulled that shit all the time. Hell, there's practically a 1:1 analogue in AC4 where you kill a guy and his last words are "I failed you Fatima..." with no explanation whatsoever. There is no character named or mentioned Fatima anywhere else in the game.
