yes. that's why it's good. more games should feel like that.

Yes. Next question.
You should play the older Zelda games. You can roll in those, so they should make you a very happy boy.

It's alright, I have it for PC and no amount of mods can make it great. I think it's like the Rotten Tomatoes scores, they're asking, "of those who already like Zelda, how likely are they to like BoTW". This is where the 100% and 95% scores come from. The problem is that when the rest of us see these scores and play the game we're expecting something truly exceptional. But what is exceptional in this game?
Is it the combat, the storytelling, music, dialogue, boss fights, enemy design, or weapon design? How about exploration? -- Go there and find another Korok seed, go there and find shrine #567; look it contains an easy puzzle and a weapon too weak to be of use. This is the reason why 100% of the screenshots are just vistas. What we get is a serviceable open world game with climbing mechanics, a Far Cry glider, 4 real dungeons and filler.
The praise seems comes from people who just don't play a lot of games, "fanboys", or reviews who have a lot to gain from saying, "this Zelda game shows that Nintendo is still the king". All at a cool 720p 30fps.
They're both good but I do think BotW will age better. The thing is Elden Ring has a fuckton of content but ultimately it all boils down to "go here, kill boss, get loot". In 5 years we'll see games that do what Elden Ring does, but there's still nothing that offers quite the freedom of experience that BotW does.
nToddler are pedos what do you expect
OOT and MM are better
ER will age very quickly, whereas DS1 and Botw will be played for years to come.
>Are NinTendies really this braindead?
yes
It's a fucking tragedy that they made that huge map and DIDN'T populate it with unique dungeons and bosses that give cool rewards at the end.
This game was supposed to take Zelda back to it's roots, and it get so close and gives up.
The desert is kino though, I spent days just loitering in it, I fucking love comfy deserts.
but seriously this is completely abnormal, why is this game in particular prompting these retards to still spam the same braindead essays about its supposed objective flaws five years later? this is the only game that gets this, you don't see it for trash like the last of us for ex
what is it with this game in particular that provokes this amount of mental illess? is it because it's nintendo?
I agree. Both of those games offered something new and unique that made them truly special. I'm enjoying my time with Elden Ring a lot but it doesn't have that feeling of "this is an experience I'll remember forever". It's just a fun open world game with Soulslike elements sprinkled in, it never becomes more than the sum of its parts
OP is right, BOTW is a dumbed down game for kids. I played it for 30 hours, it was fine.
5 years. You schizos have been seething about this game for 5 years. Why?
BotW was outdated on release
