OBS pretty much, alternatively use Nvidia's Shadowplay or ReLive for AMD.

OBS Studio.

Sony Vega, NVIDIA Shadowplay, OBS.

>try Nvidia capture
>even like 10 seconds is like 50mb
What the fuck

OBS is pretty shite tho

OBS is the best right now.

shadow play can be good but you have to make an account and even then I have lost many recordings because it decides not to pick up audio

ur face

Forget all those soulless options. RETVRN TO FRAPS

unregistered hypercam

What's Fraps like nowadays? Do they even update it anymore?

Unironically going to use fraps tb h. Does it support HDR? That's the reason why shadowplay and OBS are piece of shit

AFAIK it's the best choice if you intend to stream as well.

Storage is fuckin cheap nowadays.

>Fraps 3.5.99 Released: February 26, 2013
It's been dead for nearly the better part of a decade Jim.

It doesn't even support DX12, let alone HDR, and the trademark ran out in 2017

>haven't gigabytes of footage with fraps and having to convert it
Oh man. Nostalgia

Just you wait, Fraps 3.6.00 will be dropping next week.

>two more weeks
i trust this plan

Strap a go pro to your head and edit in dance music while bobbing your head the entire time

>it's actually going to be an entire decade in 11 months
F

But it's free and has a shit load of guides.

Simple and popular will win against better and more complicated everytime

640x480, 200kbps bitrate and stuttering as the cpu couldn't encode it smoothly is truly the patrician way.

rip in pieces

>massive crusty grainy watermark taking over most of that little pixel real estate you have
true patrician way indeed

I heard it's better now
