While it came before Sonic 3, it came after Sonic 2. Sonic 3 is a direct sequel to Sonic 2.
If CD happens after Sonic 2 then it happens after Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Even as a classiccuck myself I think you're embarrassing. Adventure 1, Advance 1, Rush 1+2, some of Unleashed, Colors, Generations and of course Mania are all soulful as fuck. Not to the extent of the Classic games, but still packed with soul.
