Do people really follow these level ranges?
Do people really follow these level ranges?
So you just…don’t go to the Haligtree? Too much hassle?
caelid was my second area lol
>mfw currently level 112 with a +24 weapon at volcano manor
Fextralife's streamers aren't good enough.
i do. if i didnt, i would compulsively overlevel
Haven't struggled that hard with the game until I got to Astel. What the fuck is this guys problem?
Beyond equip requirements all that really matters is what level your weapons are at
i don't know, but 80+ seems about right for Leyndell, at least for Mohg. have tested from 80 to 120 with maxed out somber and regular weapons, still get summoned frequently.
also, what's with Fextralife plastering their name all over their images? it's not like they own the assets they're ripping.
>completely forgets the haligtree
lol
>has gotten 12 smithing stone [7]s
>has made it "only up to" volcano manor
Lying on the internet. For shame.
Looks way too low overall. Also some weird shit like south Caelid being the same level as the upper dragonbarrow area which is blatantly wrong to anyone who actually played.
Even with minimal exploration you'd have to hold back deliberately to be as low as this guide says
Sounds about right, though I think its less about following a guideline and more about the average level people tend to be around places.
i know everyone's memeing on it not including the haligtree but it also doesn't include nokstella, despite mentioning lake of rot, or deeproot depths
No but it's a pretty good guide so you won't overlevel the current content. You can easily ruin half of the game if you happen to explore Dragonbarrow early on.
Elden Ring could've used something like the bonfire ascetic so you could up the challenge if you accidentally did an area out of order
Main route of progress is
Limgrave, then the Weeping Peninsula, then fighting Godrick which literally deposits you in Liurnia, then Rennala and at that point everyone in the hold tells you to go to Altus/Leyndell.
Caelid is supposed to give you a "hardcore" option if you feel daring to traverse it.
The whole gimmick with Gelmir is that it's meant to be deceptive and dare you to finish it before wrapping up the bounty hunting quests.
Ranni sidequest with the eternal cities should be done before proceeding to the mountaintops and haligtree and Mohg are meant to be done last
I was surprised that going through ranni's quest got me so many high level stones, doesn't feel right. With those, plus stones from exploring elsewhere, I walked into the capital first time with a +23 swordspear. This will sound autistic but I felt bad and swapped to a +17 great epee. Still wasn't very difficult, but it was more fun. I was also well over level 100 without ever purposely grinding runes
For me, it's
>Limgrave
>Liurnia (grab somberstones)
>Volcano manor death warp
>Lava swim (grab somberstones)
>Ligma (grab physick)
>Caelid dog warp
>Caelid (grab somberstones)
>Caelid (kill dragon)
>Bully Rennala
>Bully Godrick
>Bully Radahn
>Grab Mimic
>Shove funny ghost cotton on his ass
>Win
not just the stones but all the high level gloveworts are down there too.
>Dragonbarrow
>Lvl 60+
>Upgrade 10-14
no im like 140 and at mountaintops/haligtree
