Just why? Why are the enemies always faster than you? Why do they have lenghty combos that are designed to empty your whole health bar? Why are colossal swords so slow when they deal barely any more damage compared to faster weapons? Why are large enemies so fast when they deal so much damage and should be slower to balance things? Why does the game reward you with little to nothing useful? Why is the game trying to kill you so much all the time? Why is the game constantly throwing shit at you? Why isn't the game fun?

Just use a fast dex weapon, you can easily stunlock the smaller poiseless enemies before their hyper armor kicks in and you can actually get hits in during the recovery for bigger enemies attacks without having to trade.

because you have something much more powerful than some flashy hopping around. You have a brief but extremely godly move known as the dark souls roll. you reposition yourself during which time you are granted immortality and phase through all damage. Just like real life

The only way you could make bosses tougher from that point is by making them tanky hyper aggressive damage sponges, because if they don't everybody will complain the bosses were too easy.

check the credits, devs from BB, Sekiro, and souls worked on this game together, and it seems like they all had a tug of war about what styles to make the bosses use, and then ended up (retardedly) compromising and picking all of them combined. it's absolute garbage game design, plus open world. i'm just shocked at how many fromdrones are such miyazaki dick riders that they ate it up despite all these things

The game definitely resorts to bullshit in order to maintian the "hardcore" image. Sekiro never felt like that
