I have to admit. Despite how much they're reused I find it really hard to hate the Crucible Knights. I even use their armor from time to time.
Why is this? Is it just the way they present themselves? Stalwart and confident.

I'm so jealous of all the cool shit enemies can do and I'm still stuck being a fucking loser. That tail whip or shoulder bash looks so cool, it devastates the player. But when you use it, it's barely a sneeze at even the lowliest of mobs.

Literally easier than any form of banished night. No chads here.

I remember this lady from Ripley's. 90% of the time that shit is unironically some crazy genetic reaction to HPV, like the tree man disease.

I mean, that's how it has always been. Fromsoft never gives you cool shit, they ONLY did it in bloodborne and it was great but they generally fucking hate it when the player gets to have something cool that's also useful. I couldn't tell you why, but this is always the case. The cathedral knights in ds3 used different attacks on their ultra greatswords, quick headbuts and shoves, shit like that. You got stuck with a shitty moveset from 10 years ago. In Elden Ring you get to bleed things or cast magic laser, everything else is shit.

And you don't even have to get into movesets or weapons to feel like a fucking loser. In Bloodborne your hunter dashed in and out if you locked on, rolled if you locked off. In elden ring and souls you are stuck rolling around on the floor like a fucking retard and it just looks terrible. You have to equip a specific ability to get a cool dash. The default should have been a dodge like that, not a roll. You'll always look like a fucking dopey loser in these games one way or another no matter how much you try to be cool.
