There. I just created an authentic CRT experience on an LCD. Aperture grill, shadowmask, etc. overlays can be used if desired but that's a purely cosmetic thing. The only key component of the CRT experience is the low definition image.

Different masks. Most TVs are aperture grille or slot masks while monitors used shadow masks.
