this will net you 13245 ruins with the golden scarab equipped. its over 17k with the golden scarab and gold pickled foul foot.
simply rest at the site of grace again, rinse and repeat for as long as you want

a few things to note about this method
you can only hold 99 arrows at a time but you can keep as many as you want in your chest and every time you rest at a site of grace it refills them to 99 until you completely run out
you are better off doing this at night because you have a chance, all be it a very rare one, that the bird will spawn with glowing gold eyes making him worth 66k
and thats it. enjoy breaking your game.

oh and you also dont have to wait for the runes to collect. you will still get them as you are resting.
the bird will also get stuck on the tree every once in a while but if you move, he tries to follow so you can get him around it.
