Winds of Zanzibart is a fluke, you can tell it's literally all just repurposed assets from Dark Souls 5 after the project went so sideways they had to scrap everything, that's WoZ has such a budget feel to it, for better or worse.

The correct portal spins counterclockwise. Once you find it it’ll take you to the Forge of the Empyreans and there you meet the Spinster of Fate, who teaches you to use Logos Fire-Law to create a shackle of the Dancer Stars, which will basically banish their Envoy and let you proceed. Beware that when you come back the Envoy will trash against it’s imprisonment and partially manifest in a desperate attempt to kill you and that’s when you can finally destroy it.

It might be a reference to Dranius's cousin Draino who was chosen himself and had many children, but they all perished in the battle at the Acrid Vortex. There's no reason the crown should be there if it belonged to Draino, so it could be Dranius's. Maybe Dranius was chosen all along but decided to hide it to protect the mantlebearers, not that it really worked out in the end.

It’s more like the Forsaken’s soul is unable to escape the Lands Adrift, for they need a conscious observer or they would simply cease to exist. With the Forsaken’s soul being the only one untainted by the fog of dissolution, it must be him, and so after a brief moment during which reality starts to collapse, he is returned to the Lands Adrift as if it had never happened.
