Why are PC gamers so subservant to the man who hopes that no PC game will ever own a video game ever again?
Why are PC gamers so subservant to the man who hopes that no PC game will ever own a video game ever again?
I own more pc games than ever thanks to him.
he is asking why pc gamers are cucked enough to worship gaben, since he wants you to not own anything and be happy
physical media is dead. why would i lug around 500 discs with 500 plastic cases for the discs when i can just store it all on a harddrive
>I own my games cause I got a physical thing
Reminder that billions of dollars worth of people's "owned" belongings are burglarized from homes every year, meanwhile no one has ever had their steam games taken from them by Valve.
>hopes that no PC game will ever own a video game
What, like the PC games are whipping the console games on the vidya plantation?
Actually people's Steam Accounts have been banned before
You can get it banned for using a VPN to get cheaper prices although they don't often enforce this.
boi what da hell dis nigga talmbout
>Reminder that billions of dollars worth of people's "owned" belongings are burglarized from homes every year
if he really wanted to, he could kill piracy in 5 seconds by making denuvo (or an equivalent steam alternative) mandatory on all games.
physical media in pc gaming is irrelevant when you can just copy a cracked game to as many external hard drives as you want
What are you even trying to say you ESL spic
Make sense to me, Garcia.
Same reason people think that Nintendo saved the gaming industry.
Because people have short attention spans and zero self-control.
Fuck off Tim, you're not fooling anyone.
This happened to me, actually. I used to work in CHYNA, and I was waiting to buy games there with my chinky account because they are (or at least were a few years ago) something like 10% of the price. They banned my account for that, and when I told them that I work there and in Europe, moving between the two, they said that while they personally thought it was unfair, they can't overturn a ban.
Which lost me about 1000 bucks worth of games. So no, you don't own them for shit.
>Hopes that no PC game will own a game
What did OP mean by this?
Sounds like you could have pushed it harder and got your account unbanned if you spoke to right person desu
for all his ills he's able to exist as a guy with a vision even if it's money being sucked out of your wallet. everyother dev/publisher answers to a mystery soup of investors and financial algorithms.
>if you spoke to right person
Probably, but good luck ever being able to do that.
The point stands though. You really don't own your games on steam, especially if you're one button push from begging for access and *maybe* getting it if you speak to the right person.
These days I buy a big ol' hard drive and keep pirated game installers on that. 100% access for all time, no matter who I say the word "nigger" at in 2024, or whether or not I dare to use a bank card from a country that will be forbidden in the future.
5-10 euros for a few years old game, so I have mp and don't have to bother with torrents is fair price, and anyway I don't want to keep bags of useless plastic so I can "own" game more
Steam
Emulators
Woah...
To who do you have to say bigger to get banned?
After Muttmerica loses WW3 there will be no more internet or shit companies like this.
Better get used to it. PC & console is over soon.
We are going back to the 50s!

Eggs in one basket
with my Steam librabry being as large as it is, it would be illogical to have a physical copy of single game I own, Digital media exist for a good reason, with that being said, I pirate my games I want to keep forever and buy games on steam for convenience, same goes for physical sales, I buy them because I like them enough to have a physical representation of the Item.
