It doesn't even matter. Metamancers will simply respec to whatever YouTube guy tells them is overpowered. The only way to fix the balance of the game for pvp is to just not balance the game for pvp. Alternatively, just make everything overpowered which they were close to doing at launch, but it might go the way of Dark Souls 3 where they nerf everything into uselessness for the sake of pandering to the pvp crowd.

I don't know how the fuck people try and say the mage class isn't the easiest way to play the game, I'm doing a run right now and I just beat Morgott at level 19 after maybe 7-8 tried. Figured out I could beat Godrick with 4 flask at level 22 without summons. To think my Str/Dex build took me hours of exploration to get here and I barely have to do any of the open world content with a Mage

There's a bug where you can "instantly" cast some spells if you combo it with bestial sling or catch flame. Casting bestial sling twice immediately followed by magma breath, for example, instantly spits out a shit glob of lava without any animation whatsoever.

You cast a running catch flame and quickly select another spell like Dragonclaw and spam the cast for that one. The second spell wont have a startup animation.
Some spells (like dragonclaw) wont have an Animation at all and come out pretty much instant which is broken af. The catch is that they will only use the range of the catch flame spell. Its still pretty broken

I’m playing an INT/DEX build and the game is legitimately too easy, first time I’ve ever felt this way about a FromSoft game. Glintstone Pebble and Arc are overtuned.

When was this seen publicly? You have to remember with consoles they take days if not weeks to certify a patch. So you can bet your ass that only week 2 bugs are going to be fixed while anything after that will still be there.

They buffed shields and a bunch of sorceries last patch

Casting is only easy in the early game, and pretty much everything can dramatically outscale it. 60str with a couple buffs allows you to kill Radagon and the Elden Beast in about 10 seconds each.

I take 100 new ER threads, because that means it kills 100 Trannime porn threads

Where are you at in the game? Nothing every beats pebble efficiency-wise, and arc is the king of crowd control, but many spells are better than pebble later on, especially for bosses where it doesn't matter if you use up all your blue flasks.
