Yeah. Berserk doesn't add enough damage to justify its drawback. Neither does Dark Knight's Soul Eater.
I beat most bosses using Warrior or Void Knight. Reinforce + Ground Pound wrecks almost every boss. And Runic wrecks the ones that doesn't work on.

Pretty much a lot of this other than my favorite jobs being different. I did not play Nioh so I'm unsure if the guard/soul shield system is reminiscent of how defensive mechanics work in that game but I gotta say it feels very good.
