Not a hidden gem and not untranslated but I'm working my way through Final Fantasy 6 in Japanese for practice. It's surprising how much time you can spend reading when it's enjoyable.

Pretty much every single one. Translations aren't straight adaptations, they're rewrites at the hand of whoever is working on the localization. The sooner you understand this, the better. Most of the changes even get in the way of narrative quality by muddling entire terms or direct references to external works.
Everything from the Soulsborne games to Final Fantasy is superbly botched.
