sniper elite 4 was ok be fair just he AI was not that smart.
but the graphics bullet time effects killing are dam good.
I had blast with multiplayer as well but guess it dead now. The multiplayer was underated people just have no taste.

Se 4 feels a bit like a mixture of Se 2, Se 3 and strangely Hitman.
I think its one of the best Stealth-Sniping game alongside with 2.

Sniping is satisfying especially at higher difficulties. My only issue with it is when you really get into it you realize it's designed to be played like a more traditional stealth game. Sneaking up and backstabbing enemies is generally wiser than trying to snipe.

They should've gone either full Nazi Zombie (which is funner than the Sniper Elite games) or just keep it historical (nobody would object simple set-pieces where you kill Nazi officers) instead of this weird amalgamation of a realistic setting and high stakes sekrit nazi wunderwaffe that will destroy the world

Yeah basically in SE4 I think there are a bit fewer way to mask your gunfire however the maps were bigger so you can easily relocate yourself before the enemy could track you down .
This kinda ruins the immersion of "Wow, my fellow Nazi Soldier got shoot. However after a minute we couldn't find the sniper. Back to normal patroling" I know that most stealth games are flawed with this, but here I think its more annoying than ever

sniper elite 1 was not great even for its time
sniper elite v2 is low key a classic to me, very fun and addicting and the setting and missions and even sound design make the game memorable even if its not any masterpiece
sniper elite 3 was superior to v2 in technical aspects but the setting felt bland and uninteresting and bullet cams + blood looked worse
sniper elite 4 is the best one so far, got the technical groundwork from 3 but made it all more interesting and engaging, lots of content and tighter gameplay
5 looks like 4 2.0 in another interesting location and will probably be the best one along with v2 and 4
