Wonder Labyrinth

Anyone play this? Looks like a run of the mill SOTN ripoff. Worth the $20?

I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend watching the first season of the anime though so you know who the characters are. Makes it that much more enjoyable.

From a pure gameplay stance though it's one of the better metroidvanias that have come out in some time. Combining it with the Ikaruga mechanics worked surprisingly well

The anime looks like AD&D, an earnest attempt at classic fantasy. I might give it a shot, thanks user.

I have absolutely zero exposure to the source material, but it's a really solid Metroidvania, unironically one of the best in the genre. If you're a 2hu fag, play Touhou Luna Nights for another incredible Metroidvania experience

>Touhou Luna Nights
listen to this dude. Similar to deedit, I have no experience or care for 2hu as a genre, but the game itself was fun as hell

It's easy at the start but the later bosses are hard and the mechanics are really fun and unique. It just has soul.

I'm not a touhoufag, but I had fun with luna nights.

I enjoyed it. I have no knowledge of the wider series so I didn't know who the characters were but switching between the two colored attacks and balancing what I'm strong against/weak against was a really cool mechanic in this sort of game. I think it's better than their Touhou game but both are good.

S3 never

It's pretty good. It's fairly short. Same team as Touhou Luna Nights which is also well worth playing. The health regeneration mechanic makes it too easy. I like the Ikaruga-style color system and the arrows. I don't know anything about Record of Lodoss War so the story makes no sense to me.

I had fun with it yeah, it had some really good gameplay mechanics but it's pretty fuckin short. I finished it in like 4 hours.

>Looks like a run of the mill SOTN ripoff

It's not. It has a sort of polarity mechanic like Ikaruga where you switch between magic that restores your mana or hurts you.

it was based on a real DnD campaign which is why the final boss dies so randomly

It's the best controlling Metroidvania but it's too fucking short.

>start game
>it ends
woooow
how about some fucking content, this game sucks

It was pretty decent, had a nice time. It's not very long, but it's one of the better games in the genre.

It more or less is. Not super long, but a good length for the price.

I liked it a lot. it was pretty easy and short though

I liked their touhou game better but this is still good

The bow training is fucking impossible
