Why everyone loves skyrim so much?
>Muh mods
Mods don't fix any of the problems listed.

Skyrim is only good as a rapeslave simulator.

You just described elden ring

Babby's first open world game

Mods don't fix problems but they create features that are interesting enough for people to ignore said problems and enjoy their custom-made vidya experience. Like and his love for non-consensual, strictly-sexual relationships.

What else am I suppose to play?

>unparalleled sandbox world
>it's EMPTY!

Modding satisfies a certain kind of autism, and some mods are really good. That's about it

>Mods don't fix any of the problems listed
They do though

>Boring
>Empty
>Broken
Mods do fix these issues. Not to say it's a good game, but I'll admit that I did get a kick out of my 500+ mod list since the game's AI is fucking retarded and loading it up with conflicting sandbox elements leads to some funny results.

>Treats players like complete retards
turn the quest markers off if they annoy you so much

Ops wrong pic

what, so you can wander around aimlessly because the game doesn't give you actual directions and just lazily slaps a quest marker where you need to go? you dipshits always say "just turn the feature off" without ever considering how deeply rooted it is in the game's design.

I like the world and the quests. I dislike the copy-paste dungeons and the fact the main quest is too short.

Turn off HUD + better quest descriptions mod does make a difference, but the game's quest writing is still babby's first fantasy game.

>level scaling
>quest markers
>fast traveling
>terrible writing
>terrible quests
>terrible engine
>UI and control scheme obviously made for consoles
>nonexistent role-playing
>no meaningful choices
>no commitment to anything you do
>no consequences to anything you do
>unkillable NPCs
>unfailable quests
>factions have no requirements
>every faction questline ends with you as the new leader
>you can be the leader of every faction at the same time
>while not having any of their skills
>all factions but 1 have you somehow selling your soul
>game is structured like a checklist
>large cities are ridiculously small with ~70 NPCs and ~15 houses each
>again, these are the "large" cities
>villages are even smaller
>all cities are walled off from the rest of the world
>removal of attributes
>removal of NPC disposition
>removal of spell creation
>skills got dumbed down severely
>everything scales up except spell damage, meaning magic gets progressively weaker as you play
>armor cap means high-level armor is pointless
>dungeons are samey
>dungeon pillar puzzles treat the player as if they are special needs
>all dungeons loop around
>every quest boils down to killing draugr or bandits
>no journal text means you have to mindlessly follow quest markers for 99% of the game

There are signs on the roads showing where town is, every door tells you whose house it is, and caves are straight forward as fuck, what are you talking about?

Same thing as Elden Ring, just look it up in a wiki if you don't want to search every rathole in the game

OP this is a you problem. Don't like Skyrim, go play something else. End of thread.

Morrowind was worse.

Looking things up doesn't fix the boring plot and quest objectives.

Why would you reply to a thread you don't like you self-awareness lacking retard

Skyrim is underappreciated for how accessible it is. They did a lot of work to make sure that people could just jump into the game and not get lost, you can ignore quests and come back later, you'll have a chance of winning most fights etc.
Treating it as a rigorous RPG is just stupid, thats not what it is.

That's not even what I'm talking about.
>Doing mage quests.
>Need specific spells to continue.
>There are literally books with these spells in same location.
>I actually play warrior but somehow everyone treats me like a powerful mage.

Literally an issue CREATED in Morrowind.

>Game is shit.
>But it's accessible!

>Empty
Wrong. It's full of bears.
