Great game. Was a little too short. I hope the DLCs are as big as the main game DESU. Needed a few more enemy types. Story was really fun, if a bit stupid. More bosses might have been more fun. A few more guns too would have been cool. Really needed a better Mercenaries mode. The difficulties could have been better. Normal was a bit too easy and so was hard. The the "hardest" difficulties were just boring and not fun damage sponge kind of shit.

Miranda is easily the hottest character in the franchise and I am genuinely fucking mad there isn't more porn of her.

I recently discovered that there's a significant chunk of people that don't like Village or think 7 was way better. I don't get it. I feel like 7 fell off extremely hard after leaving the initial house and I've absolutely never felt the urge to replay it even once in like 6 years.

I beat village twice on launch, once again a few months ago, and I kinda feel like playing it again. It's not the best in the series but it's very consistent in that every section is fun, even if there are small hills and valleys of quality. It's a lot of fun and the return of 4/5's currency and weapon upgrade systems was extremely welcome. Good game.

It's pretty good. Feels a little unfocused and you can tell it was rushed or corners were cut in some places.

Great first play, second and after that, mediocre as fuck.

I 100% believe all the bullshit rumors about villager NPCs and sidequests, a much more involved Angie fight where she shrinks you, and Moreau's area being a spooky swamp full of cultists were true at some point during development. But they got massively scaled back due to covid or whatever. I'm curious to see if any of that stuff shows up in the DLC.
