I still vividly remember the sense of betrayal and disappointment Oblivion caused me. Age of Empires III was the first time I tasted that bitterness, but Oblivion was the one that made me never again hype for any new game.

Oblivion does not have good quests. Everybody sucks the Dark Brotherhood dick all day long because WHAT A TWEEST, but they conveniently forget how fucking shit tier every other questline in the entire game was. Mages guild was vomit inducing, Fighters Guild was sleep inducing, Thieves Guild was just really really mediocre, Arena was braindead, and all of the other quests were just variants on the same "Radiant" go-here-kill-that formula that everybody bashes Skyrim so hard for.

Playing morrowind/oblivion when i was younger i just had heavy armor, a sword and so on. but there was this one mod in Skyrim called Unarmed Helper and Enchanting - I do what I want that really changed at how I look at Unarmed that made me retroactively go to Oblivion to find some Unarmed mods, and eventually back to Morrowind for the same shit.
And I had fun.
