I definitely spent more time gambling with luigi than playing anything else in that game. It was a comfy activity to do before sleeping.

whenever I meet my brother and sister we play it for old times sake

Gummi Ship was the best part of Kingdom Hearts 1

stadium minigames were only more fun than the main game if you a low iq poorfag who couldn't afford a copy of RBY

>has n64 and copy of stadium
>doesnt have a gameboy
I take it you werent alive when this game came out if you think this is poorfag cope

I also did that. I played this game late at night with my siblings before bed. What was it about poker with luigi that was so great.

Crash Tag Team Racing.

loved building my own ships in kh 1&2

not sure if it really counts as a minigame since it still used the normal cars, but the stunt arena was lots of fun in this game

My nigger, excellent choice. The controls and character swapping disappointed kid me a lot but the Minigames were awesome.

The actual stadium game was pretty good though I'd say it was tied with the minigames...

Pokemon Stadium, especially 2/GS is legitimately my favorite way to play Pokemon. Multiplayer battles are the only fun part of the game, it just cuts out all of the autistic shit like the grinding, IV/EV shit, breeding, and natures. Everybody is on perfectly equal grounds to pick from a preselected list of rental Pokemon. And since the weaker Pokemon have great moves while the stronger ones have shit moves, it's ironically one of the best balanced games in the series.
I put over 200 hours in Pokemon Y years ago, religiously reading both the official guide and smogon. I just couldn't do it, the grinding even with EXP share is horrible and it's so demoralizing to find out a setup you spent 10 hours breeding, super training and level grinding is either shit or isn't fun to play as. I wish Pokefags had taste and would play Stadium/Collossuem at all.

are there any actual modern games that play a lot like this? it was fun as fuck.

if you use the transfer pak the main game pretty fun and a decent challenge. even as a kid I got bored of the minigames pretty quickly, granted i only played vs cpus but I remember playing mario party for hours by myself

no, rail shooters are a dead genre.

>make a bigass borg cube
>put guns on it
the creative section of my brain is dead

I played the shit out of that battle kart minigame they had in one of the mario parties. that could have been it's own entire game

I just played the one on New Super Mario Bros. Had so many stars, was nowhere close to losing them all, and I remember playing during long car rides. Looking back, I'm surprised just how much I must've played NSMB.
