find the talisman that boosts your specific incantation type and upgrade it

They get boosted by the Incantation scaling of the Sacred Seal you are using that is boosted by their upgrades of course.
Different seals also scale off different stats and can boost certain types of incantations. Clawmark Seal is pretty interesting since it's the one that scales off Strength the most so you can easily use it if you want to augment your melee kit with ranged incants.
