Is Zelda a soulslike?
Is Zelda a soulslike?
I remember for years people said that Zelda needed to copy Dark Souls to improve the formula. But in the end they copied Skyrim instead.
This is your brain on zooming
They actually copied ubisoft towers
The towers work nothing like Ubisoft. The game however does take very obvious inspiration from Skyrim.
No. It's a proper action-adventure series, not a non-stop hack & slash & rollan' meta headache.
They didn't. The entire gameplay loop and design as a whole is a polar opposite to Ubishit, and exactly the kind of medicine the modern "open" world games have required for a decade+ now.
At least you didn’t say “Soulsborne” which would mean you’re not only trolling but you’re a retard who adds derivative works into a genre title.
for the next 10 years all action rpgs will be soulslike
all open world will be soulslike
platformers will be soulslike too
Breath of the Wild takes inspiration from the thirty Zelda games before it
Now shut the fuck up already
We're more likely to see BotW ripoffs start to dominate the single player game industry. Pokemon ripped off BotW, Elden Ring itself probably took some inspiration from BotW, Ubisoft said they were learning from BotW, the new Sonic appears to be inspired by BotW, the harry potter developers said they were influenced by BotW. Pretty sure BotW will be the most influential game of the next decade.
someone please make a webm of the wolf jumping on your sword and make a thread complaining about input reading
no ocarina of time is shit with garbage combat unlike souls games which are actually good
You must be at least 18 to use this website
>defends toddler trash that people only pretend to like to get closer to their parents
>NOOOOOO YOU CANT INSULT THE REDDIT GAME
Why are you comparing a 1998 game with a 2011 game seriously?
>Elden Ring itself probably took some inspiration from BotW
The only thing I saw that was a direct inspiration from a Nintendo game were the magic telescopes that function like the binoculars in Mario Odyssey, unless there's something similar to that in other open world games
>fairies
>Epona
>Biggoron's Sword
>Goddesses' magic
>fire/ice arrows
>jump attack + crouch stab
You didn't beat the game.
