Why is nobody talking about this game? It's actually pretty fucking fun and the story is pretty good. I expected this to be a somewhat generic and forgettable experience but it turned out to be really enjoyable.
Got my money's worth from that "help the roasties" humble bundle. And no, I didn't give a single penny to that dumb charity.

it was trash you just have bad taste

>75% vn

Any Forums is an elden ring board until december bro

It's more like 55%/45%, but yeah there is a quite a lot vn elements. But surprisingly they weren't cringe inducing weeb shit (most of the time).

I really liked Gemma Garrison and the final boss aesthetics.
I honestly don't remember much else even after beating both sides of the story.

Its another weeaboo rpg. WOW. Ground breaking.

Yeah Gemma has probably the best design out of all the teammates. But the character and monster designs in general was really good.

Ditch the blueballs shit and people would probably talk about it more.

?

I bet you played and fapped to that Monarch RPG game, too. disgusting

I had fun, combat is okay though a bit clunky. Combining powers was the cream of the crop, sadly you get all the powers way later in the game.
>the story is pretty good
Gotta disagree with you, I thought the story was boring. They make things so convoluted for some reason. I will forever remember the stupidity of asking your teammates who betrayed you to meet you at McDonalds to talk about food.

I dropped it after about 3 hours. The people who say the combat in this game is good are actually completely braindead. It is literally three buttons and you unlock the only actual additional ability/dodge in the first 20 minutes.

It's really good
Still need to replay it with the dlcs after I'm done with ER

how does the vn elements works in this game?
just countless non skippable conversations with speech options and no consequences whatsoever?

>I will forever remember the stupidity of asking your teammates who betrayed you to meet you at McDonalds to talk about food.
Yeah that shit was pretty fucking stupid.

For me the story wasn't that convoluted, especially after watching and playing some other japanese anime/games. The japanese really have a fetish in making story overly complicated for no reason at all. But in Scarlett Nexus the story is relatively easy to follow and generally makes sense. Granted, I haven't finished it yet.

They are skippable, I don't remember if entirely at once or with fast button presses but the experience can be quite slim aside from Togetsu lore dump where you have to skip 5 dialogues

Because its a generic bland JRPG
The only thing it has going for it is the edgy story which isnt worth the gameplay

>DLC vindicates villain motives
Kino, I apologize for calling him sci-fi Eren

the story was meh,and even though i think the combat is actually pretty damn fun,i feel like arise perfected it outside of the quirky stuff like hyperspeed teleporting and the invis

You get a lot of cool abilities after 3 hours. And that's when it gets really fun, combining the abilities to do really fun combos.

It's the opposite. It's the gameplay and aesthetics that are great
The story is just an MGS with more sci-fi plots crammed in

Is this releated to God Eater, or is it that other Namco game?

Can I get a quick rundown? Don't know how you could justify his motives considering he removed himself from existence to save a girl already engaged to another guy.

>i feel like arise perfected it
The only thing Arise perfected was having a male MC that wasn't a total beta, a party with some decent and fun interactions and believable character arcs and a damn great memeable villain
It's pretty much inferior in everything a d it's not like the story is THAT great either

It's really more of an ARPG then a classic JRPG.
