Looks like they took the very worst aspects of FF7R and FF15 combat and combined them.

They're called new difficulty modes. Anyway it has Chaos mode which adds a new grade of loot, has a new system for making missions harder and lets you increase the level of jobs further though it doesn't change enemy moves (though technically Hard mode already does that) or placement, which was a thing that happened in the DLC difficulty modes for Nioh anyway.

I FUCKING KNEW IT, I asked this question like five times and nobody would answer me. They said it's like Nioh with FF mixed in, so I figured it had a gear drop system.
That's fucking weird, but I guess if you can play as multiple classes they have to give you a way to collect gear for all the different classes.
